Stop paying for leads

If your service business does fifty thousand a month, you're already paying for leads. The real question is who answers them.
A call rolls to voicemail after hours. A web form sits until morning. Past customers never hear from you again. None of it shows up on a report. It shows up as jobs that went to someone else.
Here's what we install. Every web lead gets a reply automatically, day or night. [A phone screen: the form on this page is filled in and sent, and the automatic reply arrives in the inbox.]
Every call you miss gets answered, and the job gets booked.
[Recorded demo call, an excerpt of a real test call to Averon's own AI receptionist.]
AI: Thanks for calling Averon Systems. You're speaking with an AI assistant, and this call is recorded for quality. How can I help?
[Later in the call]
AI: One, tomorrow at 9 AM. Two, tomorrow at 9:30 AM. Three, tomorrow at 10 AM. Which one works best for you?
Caller: Let's do the first one.
Then it texts past customers who opted in, asks every customer for a review, and coaches your team on their calls. Ads go in last, once the rest is working.
Don't take our word for it. Fill in the form on this page and watch the reply arrive.
And the guarantee. Before anything goes live, we write down your booked jobs from last year. If they're not up twenty percent by your second full month, the monthly fee stops and we keep working free, up to three months.
Two thousand to install. Twenty-five hundred a month, month to month. Live in about three weeks.
Book a thirty-minute call: your numbers, no pitch deck. If it's not a fit, we'll say so.
Narrated by an AI voice. Demo call recorded with the caller's consent.
What your missed calls cost you
Stop losing jobs to the guy who answers faster.
Move the sliders. These are your numbers, not our claims — and the arithmetic is written out in full underneath.
Your four inputs, run through the arithmetic shown below. An estimate, not a measured result.
That's over $700k a year. If those inputs are accurate you don't need a calculator — book the call today.
missed/mo = calls/wk × 4.33 × missed%loss = missed/mo × close rate × customer valuerecovery = loss × 45–65%
- 4.33 is the average number of weeks in a month.
- Missed contacts are assumed to close at the same rate as answered ones.
- Recovery is quoted as a fraction, never the whole loss. No system answers every contact or closes everything it answers, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something.
- These are your inputs run through the arithmetic above — not measured results from a client.
The calculator turns your own inputs into estimates using the arithmetic shown above. They are not measured results and not a guarantee of revenue.
Why leads slip through
-
Nobody is free to answer
A call rolls to voicemail after hours. A web form sits until morning. Past customers never hear from you again. It shows up as jobs that went to someone else.
-
Someone else answers first
Stop losing jobs to the guy who answers faster. The calculator above puts a number on it, from your own figures.
-
Traffic arrives before anyone answers
Pay for traffic before the phone and the follow-up work and you are buying calls nobody answers. That is why ads come last.
- 42 h average first reply to a web lead in the audit cited below
- 3 wks from signature to all seven live carrier queue included
- +20% more booked jobs by month two or we work free, up to 3 months
42 hours — Average time to a first reply to a web-generated test lead, among companies that replied within 30 days. Oldroyd, McElheran & Elkington, “The Short Life of Online Sales Leads”, Harvard Business Review, March 2011. 2,241 US companies audited; 23% never replied. Check it.
Seven jobs, one system, in a fixed order
AI employees that never call in sick.
Seven roles you would otherwise be hiring for, installed in this order. Not seven tools bolted together — one sequence, where each step only works because the one before it is already running.
The seven, in install order
- The Front Door website that captures
- The Reactivation Rep texts your old customers
- The Review Manager asks for every review
- The First Responder replies to every lead automatically, day or night
- The Receptionist answers the phone, books the job
- The Sales Coach trains and grades your team
- The Media Buyer ads — last, once the six pay for them
The first six cost you nothing in ad spend. They pay for the seventh. All seven or nothing — install three and the other four keep losing you jobs.
- Compliance handled: carrier registration, opt-outs and the legal side of texting.
- Your accounts, your data: ad account, phone number, CRM and every lead record stay in your name.
The order is the product. Pay for traffic before the other six run and you are buying calls nobody answers — which is why ads come last, not first. It is all seven or none of them.
What the seven replace
One front-desk hire at 40 hours a week, at the BLS median wage plus employer taxes and benefits. The sources and the arithmetic are under the comparison table above.
Live in three weeks
Nothing gets replaced. The system connects to the phone, CRM, calendar and ad account you already use. No migration, and no new software for your team to learn.
-
The intake form
Day 0After you sign, an intake form in your portal: your services, pricing, hours, capacity ceiling and a customer export, and a call if you want one. That is the whole of your involvement.
-
Carrier registration
The one waitTexting your own customers legally requires registering with the mobile carriers. Approval usually takes about a week and nobody can shortcut it, so everything else is built in parallel.
-
They go live in order
Weeks 1–3Capture page and speed-to-lead first, so new leads get answered automatically before a single old one is contacted; then the receptionist, reviews and sales coach.
-
Reactivation goes out
Weeks 2–3Once carrier registration clears.
"What happens if it doesn't work out?"
Your phone, CRM, calendar and ad account stay in your name throughout, and so does everything in them: every lead record, every call log, every customer the system produced. Export it whenever you want.
Cancelling means we disconnect our system from yours. The automations stop, the integrations are unhooked, and your accounts keep running exactly as they did before we arrived, with all the contacts and history added while we were live. What doesn't come with you is the automation layer itself: the workflows, prompts and tooling are Averon's platform, the same way you don't keep your CRM's source code when you cancel your CRM.
So there's nothing to untangle and nothing held hostage, but there's also no version where you keep the machine and stop paying for it. Better said here than discovered at the exit.
The guarantee, and what it needs from you
Booked jobs up 20% on the same months last year by month two, or we work free until they are, for up to 3 months.
- A baseline before launch. We record your booked jobs for the same months last year, in writing, before anything goes live. No baseline, no guarantee — so this is the first thing we ask for.
- One measure: booked jobs. Not revenue, because we control whether leads are answered and reach your calendar, not your pricing or your closing.
- Measured in the second full calendar month after go-live.
- The system kept switched on. Call forwarding and calendar access stay connected, and you give us your customer list and access to your review profiles.
- Leads followed up. When the system hands a lead to your team, someone follows it up within four business hours.
- No big change mid-test. No pause or material cut to your advertising or your service area during the measured months.
If it triggers, each free month is simply not billed on the month-to-month and billed-monthly plans; on the prepaid plan your year is extended by a month instead. It is never paid out in cash. The install is non-refundable: that work is built and running either way.
What it costs: $2,500 a month
Is it worth it? That's roughly $83 a day, against the $1,500+ jobs this is built for.
A one-time $2,000 install, then $2,500 a month — $2,250 a month if you commit to a year, or $1,999 a month if you pay for the year up front. Every plan is all seven AI employees; we don't sell a partial system or a pick-and-choose menu.
Billed monthly. Cancel any time.
- All seven AI employees — built, wired and maintained
- Done for you — an intake form in your portal after you sign, a call if you want one, and a customer export; we handle the rest
- Compliance handled — carrier registration, opt-outs, the legal side of texting
- Your accounts, your data — ad account, phone number, CRM and every lead record stay in your name
Billed monthly for twelve months. 10% off every invoice.
- Everything in month to month, at $250 a month less
- One extra AI employee, built to order — not from a menu. Tell us the job during onboarding and we build it, on top of the seven, after you go live
- Paid as you go — no lump sum; $27,000 over the year instead of $30,000
$23,988 billed once, up front. You save $6,012.
- Everything in the plan above, for another $251 a month off
- A second extra AI employee — two built to order in total, on top of the seven, both scoped during onboarding and built after you go live
- One invoice for the whole year — pay once and there is nothing else to approve, chase or renew for twelve months
Know a business that needs this? You both get a free month.
1 free month, on every plan, for you and for the business you introduce, and no cap on how many you introduce. It starts once their build is accepted and running. The full referral rules.
Hire a person, or hire us — side by side
You have a phone that goes unanswered and a back office that runs on one person's memory. You could hire someone for each, or have us run it. Here is what each one costs to have — the money, the hours, the leave, the exit — including the rows we lose.
| Compared on | Hire a front desk | Hire an ops manager | Averon: the seven | Averon: a department build |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| What it costs each month | ~$4,600/mo 40 hrs a week, wages plus taxes and benefits | ~$12,900/mo salaried, wages plus taxes and benefits | $2,500/mo $2,000 to install, once | $2,500/mo to run it the build itself is a fixed price, quoted after discovery |
| Works nights, weekends and holidays | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| Works without PTO, sick days or benefits | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| A person in the room | Yes | Yes | No | No |
| What you're tied to | A salary | A salary | Month to month, or a year if you want the discount | A fixed-price build, then month to month |
| If it doesn't work | You fire them and hire again | You fire them and hire again | We work free until it does, for up to 3 months | Half the build fee is invoiced only once the agreed metric is met |
Hiring costs are U.S. medians from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, May 2025 — $18.27/hr for a receptionist (check it) at 40 hours a week, and $105,770/yr for a general and operations manager (check it) — grossed up because wages are 68.4% of what an employer actually pays (check it). Rounded to the nearest hundred, and a floor: recruiting, training, turnover and holiday cover are extra. Run your own number — it's the comparison that matters, not ours.
If what you actually need is a person in the room — someone to greet walk-ins, sign for deliveries and run the office — hire the person. That is a different job and we do not do it. For everything else, the table is what it costs to employ a person for work that does not need one: salary and benefits owed whether or not the work got done, leave to cover, nobody there at night or on a weekend, and a hiring process you start over if it does not work out. The seven and a department build are two different jobs: take one, or both.
What clients say
Who it’s for, and when we’ll tell you no
We turn work down when it won't work. Here is who this is built for, and what makes us say no, so you can rule yourself out in thirty seconds rather than on a call.
Who it’s for
- Doing $50K a month or more, with an average job over $1,500.
- Roofing first, then HVAC. Dental and legal practices are gated on extra rules (a BAA for dental, state-bar advertising rules for legal), so ask on the call.
- When the system hands a lead to your team, someone follows it up within four business hours.
- One person who can say yes, hand over a customer list and reply to a text.
When we’ll tell you no
- You’re already at capacity. If you can’t service more jobs this month, more leads make your life worse and your reviews worse. Fix staffing first — we’ll say so on the call.
- You’re under about $50K/month, or your average job is under $1,500. The maths doesn’t work yet: $2,500 should be a rounding error against what it recovers, not a decision that keeps you up.
- You want just the phone bit. Partial installs keep losing jobs at the steps we skipped, and then get blamed for it. It’s all seven or none of them.
- You want to run ads immediately. Ads come last for a reason. If you want traffic pointed at an unfixed funnel, there are plenty of agencies who’ll happily take that money.
- Nobody can approve anything. We need one person who can say yes, hand over a customer list, and reply to a text. Not a committee.
- You need it live next week. Three weeks from signature to all seven working, carrier registration included — and that queue isn’t ours to hurry.
Different problem? A whole department runs on memory, spreadsheets and your evenings. See the Custom AI Department →
